    Child Support Nightmare
I have 3 kids from a previous marriage. My ex moved back to NC from CA to have 50/50 custody. Things did not work out, the kids were miserable going back and forth so they asked if they could live with me full time again. My ex got really mad at them and me and says he is not paying child support and I put them up to this to get his money. He calmed down and now says that he will pay the kids 1 paycheck per month but his taxes state he made $14,000 last year and his wife's income does not count. She has no income she does not work and I believe he put the business in her name to try and hide his income. They have a mortgage payment of $1100. A month, a GMC 4x4 Truck, Mustang, ATVs etc, etc. so I know there is no way that $14,000 would cover that. He is moving back to CA as soon as he sells his house and I need to get this straight before he leaves because last time he was there I could not find him. He says he is going to go to school and get a part time job. My questions are will CS enforcement investigate the business income and look at the fact he put it in her name to hide money or am I screwed? With him having a part time job I will be getting probably $200. A month cs, will CS enforcement make him get a full time job to pay more? 3 kids and $200 a month will put me in a bind!! Also will they look at his assets and figure out that he is lying about his taxes??

You can ask CS or a judge to subpeona his tax records and other financial records. Whether that will show what you expect it to or modify the support agreement, I can't say.
