    My pittbull puppy
    I got a new pittbull puppy yesterday we just wormed him and today it sounds like he is breathimg weird when he sleeps but when he is awake he sounds fine... what should I do??

    Maybe he just breathes "wierd" when he sleeps - or maybe there's problem.

    How old is he? Did he have worms? Did you use over the counter wormer? Has he been seen by a Vet?

    Sorry for all the questions but the info is important.

    My pit pup sounded like a pig when she was little. It was only when she was asleep... Guess its just a pittie thing... She grew out of it, although, she can really saw some Z's every now and then.

    Wormer, unless injected into the windpipe (which you would have noticed immediately) won't make your dog breath differently.

    If you notice any type of discharge, typically thick and yellowish in color, you may need to take him in. Clear discharge is OK.
