If I'm responsible for debt, how do I get it out of someone else's name?
An account is in my son's name, all the charges are from me making them for my own use, how do i take responsibility for account and get it out of his name, so it won't go against him?

Take out a loan in your name and pay off that account. Then the debt becomes yours.

I have bad credit and cannot get a loan. I can't just accept responsibility for the credit card account any way?

No... that card and debt was created and based off your sons credit when he applied. They won't just reassign it to someone else.

Yes, your son's debts won't pass on to you like that. It's your son's responsibility to pay it back. You could have clarified your doubts before using his card. Now, all you can do is to try and help him repay his debt.
