    Adding son to deed
    My husband had a stroke and i am his power of attorney; can i take him off the deed as inheriter and add my son?

    What country is this? The deed has the OWNERS names... not those of the heirs. That's what a Will is for. To determine WHO will inherit what. And in the USA at least there are very real tax reasons its better to inherit property than to be given it when the owner lives.
