I got thrown out of my grandmother's house 3 days after she was buried, can I sue?
I was living with my grandmother in Louisiana, I didn't pay but but contributed to the grocery bills, I cut the grass and did maintenance around her house in lieu of rent. My aunt threw me out without warning and sold the house within the week. Can I sue for an illegal eviction?

How did she throw you out? I am assuming she didn't literally pick you up and throw you.
    Did she
    • lock you out,
    • call the cops,
    • demand that you leave, or
    • what?

Did you aunt also live with you and your grandmother before your grandmother died? Was the house titled jointly with your grandmother and your aunt?

LA is not a common law state so eviction, if that's what this was, may be different then the other 49.
