So I'm out of distilled water. It was winter and I didn't need the humidifyer. But with summer coming, and it comes fast in Arizona (already hit 100 so far this year) with the air getting dryer and dryer I hooked my humidifyer back up.

Can I use filtered water in it for a day or 2 until I can get the distilled water? Or should I just put the humidifyer away until I can get the distilled?

If it says distilled then really that is what you should use to prevent mineral buildup. Or as a project you could set up a still and freak out your neighbors to make some new water ;)

Distilled water is demineralized, flitered water is not. Most grocery stores carry distilled water and a fairly low price but you can order on the net and get it delivered Clothing, Toys, Electronics, Jewelry, Jaclyn Smith - Kmart.com
