    Can bathroom extractor fan 230 volts be connected to the some bathroom light switch

    The light may or may not be 230. If you are in the U.S. it's probably 110.

    What city, state and country are you in?

    Are you sure that your bath exhaust fan is 230?

    Here we are we need to use the British standard.
    All circuit are 230 volts

    Yes, you can connect the extractor fan to the light switch, so the fan and light come on the same time.

I want to add a exhaust fan with a switch to control it in my basement washroom. Currently I've got a light, switch & outlet on this breaker all working properly. Nothing else tied in. How do I tie this fan & switch into what I've got set up?

I have power wire with a black/white/ ground. The switches have their own wires with Black/ White wires. The fan unit has two plugs one for the fan with a blue wire and a white wire, and the light has a black wire and a white wire.
