Honeywell rth221b1000

I have a honeywell rth221b1000 that just shut off the screen was blank except for the low battery symbol so I went out and bought new batteries and replaced them and put the cover back on and it still won't come on but the low battery symbol comes on and nothing else,so now I have no heat
