    Drug charged,but not convicted does that keep me from employment
    Was charged with a drug charge,it was put in front of the grand jury,never got indicted or convicted,will that keep me from appying for employment?if yes what do I need to do,so that I can apply for work?any aswers I would greatly appreicate.thanks..

    Hello s:

    Being CHARGED with a crime is a long way from being CONVICTED of a crime... Being charged should NEVER show up on a background check, and employers aren't interested. So, you can say you've NEVER been convicted because it's true.
