Why is my dog pooping in the house?
My dog is a 2 year old pit bull. He has been house trained for at least a year. For the past 3 weeks he has been pooping in the house. Just about every day. He would do it occasionally if it was raining, but now its all the time, does anyone have any suggestions?

Yes if its solid and not from an upset stomach then you neednto train, train, train. If you have a large crate for your dog then put him in it at night and when your gone from home most dogs will not soil there beds. Keep an eye on your dog if he looks like his might do his bisness take him outside. Also when your home and he's out of his crate let him out every 1 to 2 hours and when he poos take a clicker ( a training aid housed to signal when a dog does the right thing if your not sure what this is Google clichéd training ) and give him a treat. You do not shan't him to keep pooping in the house this will become a nasty hannit you will hate. But never hit or scear your dog when he does this no animale desirves this and it can make them aggressive plus pittbulls tend to be agrassive dogs and they turn
Easily. If the dogs poo is not solid then a vet trip may be in order and you little pumkim might not have contal of when and where it "gos".

Does he always poop in the same room? This could be a case of teritoral, if they aren't trained to do it outside every time they consider the places they have before to be unless taught differently. It's a case of keeping it up and if it rains leave some newspaper down he knows the difference.

Is he pooping only when you are away, or while you are at home as well? Is he up to date with vaccines and worm treatments? Have you recently moved or has anyone moved in or out of the home? New baby? New pets? Is there anything new happening in your lives at home? Have you thought about seeking a vet to rule out anything medical?

Make sure you are using a good enzyme cleaner, water and vinegar solution works great. If you could just give us a little more info then we would be more then happy to find the proper soultion for your situation.
