    Leaving out a w2
    I am waiting on one w2 the hole gross earnings might be $ 850.00,, I only worked 3 weeks in the summer and it won't even put a dent in my return,, so do I really need it to file or can I just possibly file it with next years return I have my big one that earned @ 22,000 last year can I just file with that?

    $850 is almost 4% of $22,000.
    For reference, tax on $22,000 is $2926 and tax on $22850 is $3054, a difference of $128. Now you probably won't be paying tax on exactly those amounts for various reasons but you get the idea. All w2s are required to be sent to you by the end of this month. There's no excuse for doing it wrong when you know the right way to do it. Be patient, whatever you want the refund $ for will still be there in a few weeks.

    If the W-2 is not forthcoming, you can ask the IRS for your tax script. With that, any competent tax pro can reproduce your missing W-2 on his tax software.
