    Wage Garnishment laws
I need to know if the Garnishment laws of South Carolina apply to the Employers and Employees in the state of South Carolina or if they apply to the Residents of South Carolina. In other words, I am a resident of South Carolina but I work in the state of Georgia and receive wages from a company in the state of Georgia. Do the South Carolina Wage Garnishment laws apply to me or do the Georgia Wage Garnishment laws apply?

Thank you for your help in this subject.

It's the State where your check is written, where you are employed that rules. To enforce a Judgment in another State the creditor must apply to the Court -

I don't know where your Judgment was issued.
