Kenmore model 417.41042000 using excessive water?
I've been checking our water meter due to a leak. After fixing the leak, I thought I'd check how much water our washer was using. I found it used 222 gallons. I actually had both toilets turned off. This exact amount happened once before while I was replacing the toilet. The water company took hourly readings electronically and we used 222 gallons at the time of the toilet installation. But, the washer was being used at that time. I can't understand this, to me the washer would flood. Any suggestions that the washer could be using this much water at times?

Over what period was the washer being used? How many washes to get 222 gallons? Surely not just 1 time!
