Hello,
I am 37 years old with no children. In August, I had one 5cm fibroid, now (April) I have one fibroid that is 6.2cm and several small ones with the largest being 1.9cm. My period is being increasinly heavy. I generally have 7-9 days of spotting, then 6 days of my period, then 2 more days of spotting.

I spoke with my gyno today and have my 'decision' appointment in 3 weeks. We discussed hysterectomy, myonectomy (He doesn't really want to do that one because he won't be able to get the smaller ones and they will just grow larger and I'll have the same problem). We also discussed Danazol (I don't really want to turn into a fat teenaged boy! LOL)

I was wondering about shrinking fibroids naturally. I know this may sound weird or wrong but I was also wondering about using a pregnancy to shrink the fibroids, would the pregnancy need to be completed? If I had a miscarriage, would the fibroid still shrink? How long until it grows again? Are there any other natural remedies that I could try?

I am really not too sure which route to take in lessening my period and would like any advice or assistance.
