Ask a obgyn for free online?
At my 20 week ultrasound the technician found an 3.0 mm echogenic focus on the chest wall above the babies heart, at my 22 week follow up the technician said she could still see the echogenic focus and that it was located on the outer chest wall. I was wondering what this could be an intication of? All info I have found online is for an intercardiac focus not a chest wall echogenic focus.

    Thank You.

I'm sorry if you were mislead, but there are no OB's who are members of this site.

As for your ultrasound. What has the doctor said to you about it? The technologists are not certified to actually read and interpret the ultrasounds they do. The interpretation falls into the hands of the radiologist and your doctor.
