Using this kit you will have to remove the drum and therefore the belt. Unplug the dryer. Remove the bottom panel at the back of the dryer and notice or diagram how the belt is attached. Disconnect the belt. Open the door of the dryer and remove 4 screws pointing upward which hold the top down. Loosen two screws at bottom front of dryer, one on either side. From the top remove screws on either side which hold the front on the dryer. Disconnect wiring to door switch (make note of where they are connected, especially if there are 3 wires). Tip the front toward you and lift off at the bottom screws you loosened before. Set the front to the side and lift at the front of the drum and pull it out of the cabinet. Now you have access to the bearing at the back and the shaft on the drum. They should be self explanatory to replace and usually instructions come with the kit. I usually can get my arms in to disconnect the belt from the front without removing the back panel, but since you don't know how it looks in there, it's best you remove it. While you have it apart remove all the lint you can from the interior and from the lint duct on the front (down where the lint filter goes). Also check the condition of the belt, if it's cracking, replace it. Check the condition of the front drum supports and replace as necessary, they are usually made of teflon and wear thin. Be sure to get all the lint from the motor, as that can cause problems and from the fan as that can cause still other problems. Good luck and if you find a lot of lint build up, check your venting. Remember if you lose 1" out of that 4" diameter of the vent, that accounts for 30% of your dryer efficiency... higher electric bill... damage to you dryer's heater and lint build upl.
