I'm not sure if this is what you wanted but valume in your hair can me reached in many ways. You can your valumising shampoos and condishaners. You may also like mose I use it. Just put a little dab in you hand run it threw your hair and blow-dry upside down. To get poof as you said it u can also do your hair with the mouse then kind of tease your root with a brush when you get the desired hight spray with hair spray. But be careful teasing your hair may cause damage to it. You may also your bumpits. The work well and can be bought at many stores (walmart being one of them) also if your in town and your hair a little flat go to to ladies room and flip your hair upside down and shake it this will add some height ( only do this it it will not mess up your hair like if you were it straight) hope this helped. If you want just a little bit of volume then just tilt your head upside down after you shower and blow dry down. OR if you want a bigger poof then you can back-comb or tease your hair, and then hairspray or gel the bits of hair that stick out if you want a neater look.
