I need the title of a movie that was filmed in Louisiana Bayou. The story
Was about a prisoner that was summoned to rescue a pregnant woman (Jean Tripplehorn) due to the levee burst and the waters were rising. He was supposed to bring her back to the prison camp, but the water swept them away. They encountered an old man that lived on the Bayou, but he only spoke Creole. He was an alligator trapper and took the prisoner with him one night on one of his hunts. The prisoner actually jumped in the water and killed the alligators with his bare hands. I won't tell the rest of the story, it's a "must see." Does anyone know the name of this movie?
