    How to alternate hydrocodone with tylrnol and ibprofen?
    OK my 8 yo boy got tonsils and anoids out last Wednesday. His ear pain is excruciating and the hydrocodone is not really working. Doctor told me to alternate ibprofen but I'm not sure how to do this and I don't want to over medicate him? An sugestions on a schedule? His hydro schedule is 12am 4 am 8 am 12pm4pm 8pm I don't know where to fit the ibprofen in.

    Ibuprofen is given every 6 hours. So, you give it at 12am, 6am, noon, then 6pm and start all over again at 12am.
