    STATISTICS-sampling distributions
A senior in college is in the process of applying to graduate school. He takes the Graduate Record Exam, knowing that his first choice for graduate schools only accepts students who score in the 90th percentile or above on the verbal portion of the test. Given that the verbal portion of the exam has a mean of 500 and a standard deviation of 100, what is the lowest score the student can receive and still be accepted at that particular graduate school?

You are going to have to attempt this and tell us what you came up with... we will help you learn how to do it... but we won't do it all for you. That's how it works around here.
