I have a leaky shower drain on a basement floor. The shower is about 35 years old.

It looks like the drain pipe is soldered in and I suspect the gasket on the underside of the shower pan is leaking. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
What is causing water to gurgle in floor drain in basement?

Drain is in the laundry room but the gurgling noise is non-stop- not just when we are using water. We have a sump pump- about 10 feet away from this drain but we have never plugged it in. There is no water coming up into the basement- just gurgling down in the drain- approx 4 inches below floor.
