    What does it mean when you have suds in the backyard? We have a septic tank.

    When it happened to me my leach field was overloaded and sewage was rising to the surface.

    I've also heard of oversudsing causing suds to come out of the holding tank and rise to the surface.

    Either way it's not a good sign.

    Well, here is the true answer... 1st if you have a drywell check to see if it is full? 2nd if you haven't had your tank cleaned in 5years you need to have it cleaned... most likely that's your problem... its full...

    Could be several things, trouble with a dainage field, tank needs to be pumped out, your household has grown and youu are using more water than the system can handle
