    1099 Out of State Filing
    Ok, So I live in NC, do work for a company in Oregon, All the work I do is in Africa - not in NC or Oregon. Do I have to file state tax forms in Oregon?

    NC: yes. because you live there.

    Please clarify something - you say you work in Africa - do you mean you travel to Africa for your job and are paid in local African currency? Or do you mean you travel to Africa for your job but get a paycheck in US dollars back in NC?
