How to wash out/fade black hair dye fast?
I've had my hair dyed black since the summer. It's already growing out and I'm really wanting to go blonde for this summer. Any advice on how to lighten it up soon-ish, or anything to get the rest of it to fade?

Black hair to blond, you have to be kidding, right ? I would suggest if you want healthy hair to get it all cut off as soon as enough of your original roots show to have a decent hair cut; then, and only then have light hair.

I agree with tickle. A few years ago I started using a supposedly 'dark brown' dye on my hair only to have people inform me that my hair was now black! I've had my hair short for the past few years and had a crack at growing it out several months ago. I managed to get it from pixie type cut to near shoulder length but when I stopped using said dye my roots started to come through and it looked awful. So bad in fact that last week I had all my hair cut very very short in an attempt to start again :(. I now have an almost boyish crop (not nice) which is 1 inch brown and 1 inch frazzled black... yuk! In short I don't think there is anything you can do to fade black and trust me I tried. The best thing I can suggest is to cut off as much as possible, apply a much lighter brown to the new roots (semi-permanent only) and just wait for it to grow back... this is my plan anyway. Steer clear of the black at all costs... it looks brash and ruins your hair. Hope this helps.
