50's or 60's movie about a girl who is traumatized by carousels
I don't remember much, I know it's an older movie.

I remember a girl riding a carousel with her father and he falls or something and the horse she is on kills him and of course she witnesses this and is forever traumatized by it. When she is older, I remember something about an all girls school or maybe an asylum? I also remember one scene where she is with this guy and they find one of those horses on a spring and she gets on it and freaks out and starts crying...

Not much I know but I hope something remembers!
