    L1B visa refund
    I recently got a L1B work visa, but do to family issues had to return to canada, so will I be able to get a monetary refund?

    If the income was sourced from a U.S. company, you still have to file a U.S. tax return.

    However, if the duration of your work tour was LESS than one year, you can deduct your rent and daily living expenses by submitting Form 2106 with the Form 1040NR.
