    Whirlpool elec dryer
After acquiring a Whirlpool Senseon Electric Dryer from a friend I have ran into some issues. It is only 2 years old and the Door Switch Assembly was bad and needed to be replaced. Well, my husband has bypassed that for the time being until we can get a part, but the dryer will shut off after about 20 minutes of drying in the Automatic Cycle. In the timed cucle it seems to work but doesn't get as hot as I think it should, for instance I am now on the second 40 minute timed dry.

I would try taking off the bottom and making sure that the heating to the dryer is clear of any lent and obstructions. Also you may want to check your moisture sensor because the controller board looks at that input to see whether it needs more or less time in an automatic cycle. The sensor may be bad and just telling the controller to go for less time because it thinks everything is dry.

I have a whirlpool dryer which has stopped spinning, the motor still runs, and it still heats up. I would like to try and figure out what is wrong with it. The model number is #LER7646DQ0.
