    My permanent residence is in NYC but I'm in the military assigned in WY.
    I go to NYC to visit my parents. Do I have to pay NY state and city taxes? I have NYS withholding but no NYC.

    I believe that NY State taxes your military income if you claim NY state as your domicile state, but NY City will not tax your income because you are NOT actively living in New York City.
