I have a ordor coming from under my house. We had pipe that came from under my kitchen sink to the main sewer connection that had several holes in it and had leaked under the house for I don't know how long. When we found it I called a plumber and they replaced the whole pipe and about 3 days later I get this smell that smells like the smell that comes from a rotten pipe and dead animal all in one. It seams to come up from out of our floor heater into the house. My husband has went under the house to make sure there was nothing dead under the floor heater and there wasn't. We did find a puddle of smelly water where the pipe was leaking so we treated it with bleach, not only to try to get rid of the smell but to make sure no mold would grow. Its not a constant smell but every once in awhile we get a wiff of it. We were going to go back under there and try to take a shovel and trash bag and try to remove some on the dirt but the space is tight.And from us being under there so much now I'm also starting to smell that dirty dirt smell, which I know probably comes up under the floor. Any suggestions on how to get rid of the smell other than what I have done? Or could this smell be coming from something else? Just seems funny that it wasn't there until the pipe was replaced under the house. Thank you for any feed back. Melinda
