Is it unlawful to move a surveyor's pin in NYS?
Is it unlawful to move a surveyor's pin in NYS? I recently purchased a house and had the property surveyed. The neighbor had infringed on my property and was asked to remove the infringements. The neighbor has now dug out dirt on one of the pins so that most of the pin is exposed and it will wash out soon. Is it unlawful to do this in NYS?
