    Get plumbing answers ?
    I am having problems in my laundry room. When washing clothes, On spin cycle, the water flows into my sump pump and bubbles come out of drain pipe.when the rinse cylce starts, a lot of water is coming out of drain pipe.

    Hi Mmwolf...

    Sounds like the sump pump may be slightly clogged or the pipe it drains into is partially clogged... maybe?

    Confirm that your washing machine drains into a laundry tray sump pump (a closed container system) and let me know if this seems reasonable, OK?

    Im not sure whether you saying you washer actually drains into a sump pit, or water is backing up out of the sump pit through the pump. If it doesn't drain into a sump pit, but the sump pump is tied into the washer drain, then it sounds like you have two issues. The first would be a blockage in the washer drain downstream of were the sump ties in, and the second would be lack of , or a fualty check valve on the sump pump.
