    Bathroom exhaust fan ?
    Can I vent my bathroom exhaust fan on the side of my house? Can it be near or under a window or door peer code?

    Hi Vnuz

    There is no code requirement that I am aware of that says an exhaust fan can't be located out the side wall of a building, per say, but under or above a window is certainly frowned upon as the exhaust can just waft back into the bathroom when the window is opened... ;)

    Otherwise, a bath fan exhausted out the side of the house is just fine.
