    Please get your dog to an emergency vet, dark colored stools is often an indication of blood.
    Blood as it travels through the dogs system will turn dark red or almost black.
    Blood that is closer to the anus will appear bright red.

    Dark blood is very concerning.

    Yes, agree with shaz, very alarming. It could mean the intestinal tract was ruptured by the chicken bone.
