    Portuguese passport for non EU
    Good afternoon!
    I'm expecting the baby who s father is Portuguese.When she s born she ll get Portuguese passport automatically.I was wondering about the mother situation.We are not married and I am holding Russian Federation passport at the moment.Can I apply for that as well as my child will be Portuguese by birth?

    I don't think you, as the mother, will be subject to the same privileges as your child.

    No, you will have to go through immigration process, it will be much easier if you're legally married.
