    Ssi
    So I just started getting ssi but I also get tanf because I have a 4 yr old child. SHould I report it to welfare or leave it alone?

    Does not welfare require you to report all income and income changes ?

    Hard to say what they will do but Im sure anything they do will beat getting nothing while you sit in prison. Just report it and let things go where they may.

    Even if you don't go to prison, it is not in your best interest to keep it a secret.
    More and more agencies cross reference, and some catch it right away and some catch it months of even longer down the line. They take all the back overpayments out of all future checks. Is it worth having more income now and no income later? No.
