    Acounting for receivables
    Hi
I have a problem regarding recievables. As per my account the recievables shows a balance of $9000 but I received an amount equivalent to $11000 giving me excess of $2000. My debtor said that his account showed that balance ($11000). I have checked my account but my balance seems accurate. So the problem is I wish to keep the money without informing them about the mismatch. How can I account for it?
