    If you have a 220V outlet right there. If your house always had gas since it was new... you likely won't. And it might cost more to have an electrician wire an outlet than a new gas stove might cost. Or a big portion of it.

    You don't just unhook a gas stove. If you don't want to have gas any longer, then you have the gas company come in and cap it off for you.
