    Work expense
    I travel 82 miles round trip to work and back 5-6 days a week. Can I claim my gas expense on my taxes? If so, what items do I need to have to make it a valid claim?

    NO.. Travel to and from employment is commutation

    Delite is correct.

    Commuting costs are NEVER deductible, either as an employee business expense or as a business expense on Schedule C.
