    Identification marks on furniture?
I have a vintage oak dining room table. It has five leaves so goes from round to oval. My dad purchased second hand in the early 50's so it is at least that old. It is not ornate but well made with an almost Shaker look to it. It has the marking stamped on the underside: McL with the number 3414 under that. The lowercase "c" is underlined. Can anyone give me a clue as to the age and where this may have been made.
