Hi All,
My name in sashikant. I am a software engineer and is employed with a reputed firm.I am more or less settled with my job and happy with what I get.I was a hardworking a and intelligent student but due to financial complication I could not get to a good institution for my studies(engineering).I must say I had a hard time in my collage days and could not enjoy what other students enjoy during collage days rather they use to laugh at my condition. I never had any girlfriends all girls laugh at me and make a fun of me because I was dark and thin and my collage mates only came to me in exam days for problems and solutions.I was regarded as a kind of mad and out of society guy (studious type).
In my collage there was a girl who was 2yrs junior to me and she use to chat with me and never made a fun of me.I always felt peace in talking to her. After collage I got into a big software firm and was regarded as a kind of role model for my batch mates and juniors.
She was still chating to me and never asked for anything. I fact I loved talking to her.But the thing was I moved to a different city but used to chat her in phone. Its almost 4years now since after her collage we had been in contact over phone but never mate.
I realised that I love her and proposed her for marriage through her friend who was also from my collage.I also confirmed that she has nobody else in life.But she joked it and rejected my proposal. I am deeply disappointed. I also told her that I will convince her parents and I am serious for marriage.she said that I am not good looking and even her parents agree she will not. She even reject my phone. I a now at on site and call her daily.
But she is not agreeing. Some times I think to move ahead but I could not get out of her thoughts. I miss her deeply and try to convience her again. But she rarely talks and many times rejects my call.What should I do. I am not bad looking but I am no hunk.Is it my fault.
Please advice...

I'm sorry to hear you found a friend who no longer is your friend.

No matter what you say or do, you will not convince her to be your friend again. In fact, the more you try to talk with her, the more stubborn and resistant she will be and will come to hate you even more, so please STOP!

In which country do you live? I suggest you find a counselor who will help you think better of yourself and also help you set goals to get past this unfortunate friendship.

The only fault that is yours will be not accepting her rejection, leaving her alone, and moving on with your life.

Do those things there will be no fault, only her loss.

Thanks for suggestions. I am trying to get over the situation.But the thing is she called me today and asked if I miss her. When I said said yes she laughed and dropped the phone.I called her again but she did not pick up.
