I was playing stalker last night and went to wilderness to find the family hunting rifle(only obtainable through third-party mods, in this case stalker 2009, an excellent content mod) and Gordan Freeman in the tunnel
As I progressed a mission was unlocked where I had to protect an ecologyst from mercenaries
After killing every badguy I returned to the ecologyst who would not go where he was supposed to due to a common glitch (according to the stalker wiki) so I shot him
On him he had a flashdrive, a psi-"thingy" (what I call it) and some other stuff
I gave the flash drive to the bartender and the hunting rifle to the guy in the bar who asked me to obtain it for him
What I'm wondering is two things, but the first question is more importand than the other
Should I have reloaded my last save and helped the ecologyst instead of killing him, and go back for the gordan freeman desert eagle and hunting rifle later
Could I go back to the tunnel afterwards
And what differences are there if I keep the ecologyst alive rather than killing him
And second (mostly for those who know of the mod I'm talking about)
Aparently the hunting rifle does a lot of damage, which is important, should I have kept it for myself
Or was giving it to him a good idea
Because he gave me a job to kill a monster for me
Is the reward as good as the rifel?
