    Who files Deceased Moms taxes
Our Mom died in Oct 2009. She was incapacitated, I was (now discharged) her court appt. guardian. Her estate has long since been disbursed, taxes filed and paid. I just received a W4 for an annuity she had. What happens if I ignore it and don't file ? Can the IRS get money from a dead person/ no estate?

This is still part of the estate, so who was over and in charge of the estate, this would be their duties. Also does this mean there is still an annuity that has not been cashed in or transferred
