Hi Can anyone please tell me if this can be done I live in an old traditional house where the waste pipe goes down the corner of the bathroom inside the wall. The bathroom as floorboards And wish to move the toilet from next to the waste pipe to the otherside of the bathroom can I put a new pipe from the new posistion of the toilet around the corner to the origanal soil pipe or under the floor diaganly to the original. Which route is best and can this be done.

Most likely this will not be easy to do as you probably can't drill through the joists under the floor... although you may be able to drop a ceiling in the space below, maybe?

Any chance you know what directions the joists run? How about how deep the joists are? Let me know and I can tell you more, OK?

And what floor is it on? If the basement is under it, it's easy.
Some old houses have a 10" wet wall (space between 2 walls) and you can run the drain along it, but it still will be below the floor level, so if if it's above the ground floor, you have no choice but to open a wall, floor, or ceiling.

HI JOYPULV Thank you but it is on firstfloor I do not think I made myself clear it is an upstairs bathroom with floorboards. Toilet at the moment is at top left side and want to move it to bottom right side. Have now realised cannot put it under floor. But can the pipe go along the wall around the corner to the downpipe and box it in.
