    Worked for less than 183 days.
    Hi,

    I worked for less than 183 days in 2010 but resident of united states (CA) for whole of 2010, am I eligible for full refund? I didn't had any other income.

    It isn't 183 days of work that counts, it's 183 days staying in the US.
    You owe taxes.

    What visa do your have? When did you enter US? What return did you file in 2009?

    I'm on L2 and on EAD, I didn't file tax in 2009 as I was not working. I entered US in Apr 2010.

    Enter April 2010 or March 2010.
    If you entered in March 2010, you will file resident tax return.
