When she bought the home from the relative, they should have signed a deed over to her. This can be a quitclaim deed, a warranty deed or other various deeds allowed in your area, Since she really has not bought the home until she is given a deed. You take that deed to the courthouse and record that deed. Once it is recored the ownership is transferred
