I have a six-month old son that was recently released from the hospital after a weeks stay. During his stay his father did not visit him once. Sadly our first past away at birth three years ago, this is our second. Throughout this pregnancy he has been all over the place with his emotions, he wants to be the best father he can be then didn't know if our son should carry his name. When we get into an argument he refuses to see our son which he knows hurts me. In the heat of an argument he has questioned the paternity and stated he doesn't want to be a part of his life. That he'll sign away his rights. We have been involved for 10 years and the last 6 have been exclusive. At this point I intend to call his bluff, I refuse to stand by and have my son be a part of his life whenever it's convenient. My child and every child deserves parents love and attention. I do not receive child support and we do not argue about money but I know that his parents divorce as a young child has affected his view on parenthood. So my question is where do I, where I shall I start with the process of having him give up his rights. I have to include that we live 10 minutes apart, this is not our only issue, I have never prevented him from stopping by to see our son (at any hour, 24/7) and we have never argued in front of our child . I NEED answers or at least point me in the right directions
