I stole from my work, was charged with theft under $5000. Can't return the stuff?
I took around $100 for the 8 months I was employed. I have a court hearing date and a fingerprint date in march.. I want to return the stuff, I really do. I feel terrible. My manager said that she'll notify me when everything settles down. Its been a week, and she still hasn't notified me. I plan on going back to work to return some of the stuff and pay for the rest of the stuff. I can't go back there because that might be trespassing, and I don't want to make it worse than it already is. So I tried texting her to call me, but no reply. What should I do? Because I know if I don't pay back restitution, It will look bad on me. I was thinking about getting a co-worker to deliver the products, but I need her to sign saying all the stuff was returned.

    Any ideas?
    Thank you!

I suspect they don't want the stuff back. You took it over an 8 month period. It's used.

If you want, wait until the court date and tell the court your efforts to return the stuff then. I have a feeling, however, that the judge may suspect that your remorse is more about getting caught than realizing you did something wrong.

Actually its not, I have gone the whole 8 months without taking anything. But a day before I admitted to taking the stuff, I took the 3 products woth $100. I haven't worn them because of the guilt I felt.

They will not want, ( nor will they be required to take the "things" back, you will though the court be able to pay for the items ( money) for the value. In fact expect the court to order you to pay for the items.
