First each time you don't put money in, will be a fraud, so they can change you each time. But may add them together, to equal a felony. Since it is a bank, they could even change you with Federal crimes, not just state crimes.

Since they will know 1. it was not a mistake 2. you did it on purpose 3 you knew it was wrong

It will be a serious event, you will be arrested and have a change to post bond. If you get prison time or if you get probation may be your ability to pay it back before court. Along with a fine that can be in the 1000's

    Hello n:

You can't change what you did.. But you CAN change how it's viewed, which will effect what happens to you. Hire a lawyer TOMORROW. Promise him ANYTHING.

Well how will your child be with you in jail, and where will money for bail, and who will be caring for the child with you in jail.

If you still have the money your best thing would be to take it in and act like you just discovered you forgot to put iit in the envelope. If you can cover the money in the morning you may be OK, if not, ( of course if you can't pay the money back , you can't hire an attorney in the morning anyway)
