My daughter is nearly 3 years old and has never met or spoke to her biological father. I left him when I was nearly 2 months pregnant because he was a drug user, drank a lot and violent to me and others. He is now in prision and has been for two years and gets out in 3 months. However he has not stopped contacting me demanding to see his daughter. I do not want him to see her or have anything to do with her until she is old evough to decide for her self what she wants to do on the matter. He has threatened everything to get me to agree to him seeing her. He is not on the birth certificate only me. Can anyone please tell me where I stand in this situation as I am waiting to hear from the solicitors but so far I haven't got any answers and its starting to drive me mad.. .

If he is the father and goes to court to make himself the legal father then he may get visitation of some kind. So before he gets out then it might be best to get things started and that way you know for sure ahead of time.
