    Property Deed inheritance
    Hi
    My family has offered to deed property to me in their will, upon their death. What financial responsibility will I inherit with this property, such as taxes?

    You personally should have NO tax liability as the heir.

    If any taxes are due, the estate will be responsible to pay them before distributing the estate's assets.
